Unique Christmas Tree

I LOVE to decorate for the holidays. I always try to add an artful flair to whatever I do. Last night I was online looking at pictures of other people’s holiday decorations to get some new ideas for my house. I came across the image to the right. It reminded me of a story my parents used to tell. My Dad’s aunt lived in a small house and she was confined to a wheel chair. One year, when I was still very young, she had her daughter set up her artifical tree with the long branches at the top and short at the bottom. Doing this gave her more space to maneuver her chair through the living room. I guess everyone teased her and gave her grief so she went back to the “proper” way the next year and thereafter.

We can only guess what the story is behind this display!!!
