Snowman Then, Snowman Now

I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During the long months of winter, building snowmen was a common past time for me and my friends. More often than not, we stopped as soon as the standard three “balls” of snow were in place. From time to time, we added branches for arms, etc., imitating a human form. That was then but now is a whole different story.

There is an official online magazine for those who like, love or admire snowmen. It is called “Today’s Snowman“. You can even watch a 24-hour-a-day live streaming video of snowmen in a yard in Gaylord, Michigan at http://www.snowmancam.com/. I will warn you that I watched for one minute and got bored. Snowmen are not the most active creatures out there!
